Yellow-rumped Warbler

 This is the Audubon's Warbler subspecies which is more common in the western US. It is identifiable by the yellow patch on the throat.

    1. Yes, that is a male. And I just realized that I didn't get any pictures showing the yellow rump!

  3. Wow, what great pictures of the Audubon's Warbler! And I never considered myself caring how a birds rump looked, but now I can't wait to see those pictures when you get them!
