White Sands National Park

 I spent the weekend in the Alamogordo area and visited White Sands twice with my friend Paul. We both took a lot of pictures of this beautiful but otherworldly landscape.

This dune is about 20-25 feet high, for a sense of scale

    it is beautiful, in a stark way. it's spring, did you see anything blooming or is it already over?

      No, nothing was blooming yet. I looked it up and the yuccas & cactus won't bloom for a few more weeks, which surprised me.

    These are amazing pictures, Rock. Grandiose! Glad that your friend Paul came to visit! Now, I want to visit White Sands again.
