Doves take a bath

Three species of doves are regular visitors; Eurasian Collared-Doves, Mourning Doves and White-winged Doves. Unlike most other species they almost never take a bath. Recently a pair of Eurasian Collared-Doves were actually splashing around in there and I managed to get a few photos:

"Do I need to put on deodorant after that bath?"
"You definitely need to put on deodorant."

"You didn't have to put it that way! I'm leaving."

"I finally have this thing all to myself. Aaahh..."

Hawk takes a bath

I got some photos of the Cooper's hawk in the large bird bath today. It's practically swimming in some of the shots:

If you build it, they will come

I finally saw one of the larger birds at the big bird bath today. The immature Cooper's hawk paid a visit and even took a bath, although I didn't witness that part. It's clearly very wet in the photos below. The hawk is about 17" and the bird bath is 29" across.
